Multiple Media Options
The L701 works with a variety of label media. From affordable paper labels to highly durable polypropylene (BOPP), polyester and vinyl label stocks to name a few. Media widths from 2 to 8.5 inches can be printed at up to 8 inches per second. Chicago Color Label can support you choosing the appropriate media for your application. We can also supply you with samples of your artwork prior to purchasing so you’ll know exactly how your labels will look prior to purchasing.
Network Connectivity
Afinia’s L701 label printer has multiple connectivity options including Ethernet for access across your local area network, USB for direct PC to printer connections, and GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) for communication between the printer and external systems such as label applicators and other automation equipment. Chicago Color Label also offers an easy to configure WiFi kit for wireless network communication when Ethernet is not available.
Configuration Options
A 2.25 inch monochromatic LCD screen gives you full control over the L701’s hardware preferences and the software-based toolkit provides additional configuration options as well as a built-in ink cost estimator so you can calculate the full cost of your labels and determine optimal ink usage.
