The Afinia LT5C CMYK + white label printer is the first printer of its kind to offer five-color printing (CMYK + white) with media types not previously available with Afinia’s inkjet based printer solutions such as clear and foil media. The LT5C is well suited for extreme conditions such as high moisture contact with food and beverage products and cold temperature storage. The Afinia LT5C is capable of printing labels durable enough for any of these demanding conditions while also providing great-looking labels for less extreme conditions and more general products.

White printing with new media options

The LT5C allows for printing on many new media types not previously available on our inkjet products. The 5th station toner cartridge provides the capability for printing white which opens up new design options for your products. Whether your printing minimalist white on clear labels or full-color designs on black media, the LT5C gives you expanded options for creative new ways to showcase your products.

LED Fusing for Additional Media Options

The LT5C uses a low heat LED fuser to adhere toner to your media. The lower temperature allows for printing on a broader range of heat sensitive media types such as synthetics and films, something not available with other printers. The LT5C’s dry toner technology allows you to use uncoated and flood-coated stocks to save on toner and reduce your cost per label.

Configuration Options

Media roll compatibility widths range from 1″ to 5.1″ wide with a maximum outside diameter (OD) of 8″. The LT5C gives users the versatility to run a variety of label sizes. If you need to print labels wider than 5.1″, flipping your designs 90 degrees will allow for larger labels to be printed. The LT5C is able to use Black Mark media as well as gap media to accurately detect the start and end of label positions of die cut media. Continuous media is also supported if you are printing designs meant for finishers are large sheet designs. An automatic cutter ensures accurate end-of-job cutting, enabling users to print one label at a time or many labels as part of a large print job.

PC/Mac Compatibility

Memjet® printers are compatible with Windows PCs and include full Windows drivers and utilities. At this time, there is no native macOS driver support. Mac users can print via a Windows PC acting as a network print server or by running Windows on a Mac (virtual machine/Boot Camp/Parallels), but direct macOS installation isn’t supported. If direct macOS support is required, consider one of our Epson ColorWorks printers.
