Epson ColorWorks C6000P Label Rewinder – RW6000

The RW6000 Label Rewinder is specifically designed for the Epson ColorWorks C6000 color label printer, providing an automated way to collect printed labels into clean, finished rolls as they exit the printer. Instead of allowing printed labels to accumulate loose behind the printer, the rewinder keeps finished media organized and ready for storage, application, finishing, or other downstream processes.

The RW6000 supports label rolls up to 10″ (250 mm) in outside diameter and media widths up to 5″ (127 mm). A fixed 3″ core holder provides a secure platform for building finished rolls and is well suited for common production label applications.

An integrated tension arm automatically controls the rewinding operation, adjusting rotation direction and speed as media is produced by the printer. This allows the rewinder to remain synchronized with the Epson C6000 throughout the print job without requiring constant operator adjustment. Controls on the unit also allow the user to increase or decrease rewinding speed as needed.

The RW6000 can rewind printed labels face-in or face-out, providing flexibility based on how the finished rolls will be stored or used. It can also operate as a backing paper rewinder, making it useful for collecting waste liner in applications where labels are being dispensed or otherwise removed from the backing material.

For heavier finished rolls, an included removable L-shaped core support adds stability to the core holder. DPR also recommends using the JPL-6000 printer alignment plate to maintain a properly aligned media path between the Epson printer and rewinder for a complete roll-to-roll printing configuration.
