Situations Where You Would Need to Replace the Memjet Wiper Assembly

The wiper assembly is a critical component within the Memjet service station, responsible for cleaning the printhead and maintaining print quality. Replacement may be necessary in the following situations:

• Mech 08 Error Code – This error can be triggered by a malfunction in the wiper assembly mechanism, such as failure to move properly or reach the printhead during the cleaning cycle.

• Unusual Noises or Stalling During Cleaning Cycles – Clicking, grinding, or motor strain noises during startup or cleaning routines can be a sign of mechanical failure within the wiper assembly mechanism or the service station that houses the wiper roller assembly
