Beautiful, professional results

Print quality is unsurpassed with the L801 with a resolution of 1600 dpi (1600 x 1600). The Memjet™ VersaPass inkjet printhead delivers thousands of tiny droplets per second from its 70,400 nozzles using its patented Waterfall Technology™. Each ink cartridge is loaded with 1.25 L of ink for uninterrupted printing of thousands of labels, fewer cartridge changes, and economical ink costs. Colors are dispensed from individual cartridges for cyan, magenta, and yellow, as well as two black cartridges (5 cartridges). The result is an ample 750 mL of ink in total.

Multiple media options

The L801 is able to use a wide variety of label stock. If you need large labels or plan to use one of our finishers to cut your own custom shapes, continuous media is the right choice. Die-cut labels can also be used in widths 2 inches to 8.5 inches. All label printing is capable of full-bleed for beautiful, professional-looking labels on par with the most expensive pre-order label producers.

High speed, reliable output

The L801’s lightning-fast print speeds generate labels at up to 60 feet per minute. Using transmissive and reflective sensors, the L801 is able to detect both gap media (labels without surrounding waste label sections) and black marks (also referred to as timing marks) to provide perfectly centered labels and reliable full bleed edges. The output can then be collected using the L801 Rewinder unit which is perfectly calibrated to match the output speed of the L801 printer.
